Job description
As part of the development of ARTEAC-LAB, we are looking for our future developer / IT manager. Within our small team of engineers-doctors passionate about sound and innovation, your mission will be as follows:
- Porting signal processing algorithms to embedded real-time systems.
- Industrialization of software for our clients, starting from prototype code developed by our team.
- Organization of processes and computer development tools to improve our productivity, the reliability, and performance of our software.
- Management of our computer system and network.
You may need to use subcontractors for certain specific developments, for which you will be responsible for the management (writing specifications, selecting service providers, monitoring developments, receiving deliveries).
Work Environment
Our offices are located in downtown Marseille, just steps away from the train station, the old port, and lively neighborhoods. We also have an office at the Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics in Marseille. As part of your role, you may occasionally travel within France and potentially abroad (approximately one trip per month). Given the small size of our team and our growth potential, the position may quickly evolve into a role with greater responsibilities.
Candidate profile
Like us, you are passionate about sound. With an engineering degree in computer science, your significant experience (at least 5 years) gives you a broad knowledge of information systems, applications, and processes used in the industry, and you are proficient in the main computer languages. You have expertise in real-time development, particularly on small systems with limited resources, and you have a good knowledge of the market for subcontractors specialized in this field. You enjoy working in a small team. You are independent, meticulous, and responsive. You have the leadership and interpersonal skills essential for implementing and enforcing the rules and processes you will establish.
